Grayson would paint every day if i let him... then again, what kid wouldn't?! Here are the painting projects he did recently. When we went to the train museum, we had gotten him a wooden train that he was able to paint. Of course, we had to remind ourselves that it was HIS train and didn't matter how it looked. :) However, he kept painting over and over in the same two spots so we had to "encourage" him to paint the other parts of the train. Unfortunately, this paint was NOT very washable, but at least it came off in the bath after a little scrubbing. Good thing we had him in his highchair so only his tray had a few stained spots that are slowly coming off each time it's washed.
We pulled out the paints again.... washable ones this time :)... to make valentines for grandparents. Before I gave him the paintbrush we painted his hands red to make hearts out of his handprints. Then off he went using lots of colors to create his masterpieces!
Ryley even had his first painting experience the next day to finish the Valentine's cards off with his footprint. :) Too bad he won't remember it since he was asleep through it all! Which of course made it much easier for me to get his little foot down on the paper!

The railroad museum has a toddler art class geared toward kids under 3 that starts this week and goes for 8 weeks. I signed Grayson up for the class and I'm sure he'll be so excited to paint and do all the projects they have... not to mention being able to see the trains each week! :) We'll share some of his masterpieces from class here on the blog for you all to see!
