A dear friend and old coworker from WA came to visit this week since it was her spring break. Amanda and I have taught Kindergarten together for the past 3 years and I have enjoyed every minute of it! Wish I was still there working with her since I loved the staff that I worked with so much! Amanda had a chance to get away from the rain and cold weather of WA and come to sunny AZ! We didn't do anything TOO exciting, but we did manage to head to Bisbee and Tucson while she was here.
Bisbee is a small mining town 30 minutes away from us. We have come to love "The Breakfast Club" there in Bisbee and go probably every other week since Will loves breakfast food so much. Anyone that comes to visit we take there! Of course I didn't think to take a picture of our favorite little place to eat, but I did take other pictures around Old Bisbee. It's somewhat of a "hippy" town so there are lots of "unique" things there, but also lots of antique shops! Amanda, Grayson, and I walked around town and came across a old child's rocker. The seat needs a little reinforcement since some of the twine is coming undone, but it is still sturdy enough for Grayson to sit on. He loves his new little rocker and wouldn't let Amanda touch it when we were at the store looking at it.

Before Amanda left on Thursday we went to the zoo.... once again! The Reid Park Zoo is the perfect size for Grayson at this age since you can get through the entire zoo in less than 2 hrs. His favorite part of the zoo this time was the squirrel we saw by the zebra and ostriches. This squirrel is obviously used to people! He came right up to our toes and started sniffing to see if we had food. At one point he had climbed into the basket of Grayson's stroller sniffing around the diaper bag for food inside. Grayson loved that he would come up and sniff his toes and wanted to try and pet him but we wouldn't let him of course! Grayson would have been happy watching that squirrel all day I think!
