December in Ohio Part 1

We got to Ohio on the 17th and stayed with my sister Stephanie.  Grayson loved having his cousins Tyler and Reese to play with every day.  The boys were great sports and letting him join in and play, yet I'm sure they were ready for a pesky 2... almost 3... yr old to be out of there house by the time we left. :)  Here are a few pictures of our fun before Christmas.

His haired trimmed from Aunt Stephy...
It snowed a little before Christmas.  Enough to excite Grayson.  He kept saying he wanted to build a snowman that morning he saw the snow.  Yet, when we went out to get in the car and the wind was blowing he quickly stated "I don't like the snow mommy!  I not like it!"

Two friends I played with when we lived there in Ohio when I was between 3-5 yrs old still live in the area.  Thanks to Facebook we have reconnected over the years and were able to get our kids together to play.  They each have a boy the same age as Grayson, and each had their second baby within the last year.

Grayson finally went out a day later to play in the snow.  He didn't last long since it wasn't good packing snow and he couldn't make a snowman.

Ryley's favorite person right now seems to be my dad.  At times he'll bypass me and go straight for him.  He's finally taking an interest in looking at books and seemed to really like the big green monster book at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Aunt Stephy offered to "share" her smoothie with Grayson before bed.  I'm not sure how much she actually got to drink. :)

Lots more pictures and videos to follow in the coming days!

Georgia in December

As I downloaded pictures and videos from my phone, I came across a few more pictures and videos of the boys from before we drove to Ohio for the holidays.  Just wanted to share a few! :)

When my parents arrived, we had fed Ryley before the rest of us ate one evening.  While we were having dinner, I look over to find Ryley trying his hardest to get to our little Christmas tree.  He was bound and determined to get ahold of an ornament! :)

Brotherly love???

Walking with his walker for the first time.... pure determination on that kids face!
Below is a video clip of Ryley figuring out how to work the Elmo spin toy :)

Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice came to Savannah so a few friends and I took the kiddos.  Grayson was excited to see Mickey come out, but was not thrilled with the Cars characters right after.  He started crying saying he wanted to leave.  The Cars segment had some loud car noises and things which is what I think set him off.  He ended up sitting on my lap for awhile and decided it wasn't so bad.  My friend Ashley helped me out by holding Ryley part of the time since Grayson takes up most of my lap these days!  Mickey and Minnie would come out between different "stories" and each time they'd go behind the curtain Grayson would say he wanted them to come back out. :)

Grayson's Christmas Program

The last day of school before break, the preschool put on a Christmas program for family and friends.  All the age groups (18 mths - Kindergarten) participated.  Each age group would go up to sing 2 songs and say a bible verse while the director of the preschool told the Christmas story.  Luckily I had a front row seat with my class so I could sneak up there and get some pictures of him and I handed my phone to a fellow teacher for her to record Grayson singing. :)  We didn't get the bible verse, but I'll upload him saying it for me at home once i download the other videos from my phone. :)  He got a bit distracted by other around him and then spotted the Kindergarteners who were dressed as the characters of the story behind him.  Of course, he'll belt out in song any other time at home, in the car, etc.  Just too much to see while he was up on stage I guess!  There are some pictures followed by two video clips of the songs they sang.  Enjoy!

Deck the Halls

Christmas has now passed and I'm a tad late on posting pictures.  Whoops!  December was busy for me and the boys.  School was winding down and the big school Christmas program was happening the last day.  Most time consuming though was the fact that it seemed like one of us was sick constantly since Will left.  Ryley broke out with a bad case of eczema on his face and ended up with a yeast infection on his bottom.  Grayson had a cough/cold that wouldn't go away.  And I ended up with a sinus infection and then another infection.  Every week after Thanksgiving we were at a doctors office and pharmacy's waiting on new prescriptions for either me or Ryley.  It made for a stressful month after Will left!  We managed to get a small Christmas tree after Thanksgiving.  I figured since Daddy wasn't home we would get just a small table top one to decorate.  This proved to be a good idea since Ryley couldn't reach the ornaments..... most of them at least!  We were also going to Ohio for the holidays so a small tree was easy to take down and get rid of before we left.  Here are a few pictures of us decorating for the holidays!
